• We use water efficiently using drip irrigation in all our production areas.
• Thanks to our solar energy investments, we prioritize renewable resources in our facilities. At Altun Gıda, all electricity needs are provided by a solar power plant (SPP).
• In our geothermal greenhouse in Afyonkarahisar, we meet our heating needs with geothermal resources and utilize solar energy for electricity generation. With the soilless agriculture system implemented within the greenhouse, we use water and nutrients most efficiently and minimize waste.
• Pollination is achieved completely naturally by bumblebees; production is carried out without the use of hormones or chemical pesticides.
• We prefer 100% recyclable packaging materials in our packaging processes.
• We implement an effective waste management system to reduce waste.
• We consider the environment at all stages of our products' delivery to consumers. In addition to keeping our products fresh through dynamic route optimization in our logistics processes, we focus on reducing our carbon footprint by reducing fuel consumption.
