A gateway to Europe
Founded in Bucharest in 1998 and operating as a supply hub, our wholly owned subsidiary SC Unifrutti sits on a 60,000 m² site. With a 4,500 m² cold store and 16 banana ripening rooms, we protect product freshness and extend shelf life. Our micro-packing lines also enable tailored packaging for retail chains.
As an integrated food processing and supply centre, SC Unifrutti combines geographic proximity to European markets with partnerships across leading global retail chains and acts as the hub of our logistics network. Backed by our global sourcing strength across Africa, Asia and South America, we can supply fresh produce year-round. The facility, staffed by a team of 150 specialists, draws all of its electricity from rooftop solar plants to minimise our environmental footprint.
